DreamHack has announced its Winter Masters CS:GO tournament with a $250,000 prize pool. The tournament has already announced six CS:GO teams that have received a direct invite. Na’Vi, G2, Astralis, Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid and Complexity are confirmed to participate in this tournament.

ESL and DreamHack have had to cancel or change the format for most of their tournaments due to the onset of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. ESL recently moved its marquee Cologne event online as the global situation continues to worsen with a record number of new cases per day. The ESL One Rio Major is set to take place in November, although Brazil has been one of the worst-affected countries in the world.
