Esports organization Dignitas has announced its return to Professional Men’s Counter-Strike and has announced a CS:GO roster headlined by former NiP stars Get_RiGhT and F0rest.

Dignitas’ new CS:GO team will feature all of the former NiP players who rose to fame as the best team in CS:GO in its early days. Dignitas’ CS:GO roster comprises:

  • Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lindberg.
  • Richard ‘Xizt’ Landström.
  • Christopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund.
  • Adam ‘friberg’ Friberg.
  • Håkon ‘hallzerk’ Fjærli.
  • Robin ‘Fifflaren’ Johansson (coach).

While most of the former NiP players had moved to other teams, F0rest was the only player from the original NiP roster to continue with the Ninjas. His departure from NiP marks the end of an illustrious career with the organization spanning more than seven years.

CS:GO fans will be excited to see the former NiP stars back in action. The Ninjas in Pyjamas were one of the first teams to enter CS:GO after its release. Their dominance in the early years saw the team create a record for the longest winning streak in CS:GO. Their record of 87-0 is still the longest-standing record for consecutive victories in CS:GO.

Patrik is a true icon of the game with a long list of accolades and has been instrumental in the legacy and brand of NiP for many years. That is something that we respect immensely and will never forget. – Jonas Gundersen, NiP COO.

Fifflaren who retired from professional Counter-strike will return to join his former teammates as a coach.
