The ESL One Genting come to an end and the roster changes start.
Na’Vi’s CEO was contacted by Vitus.Pro for the transfer of Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan to the Russian organisation. After negotiating over the transfer sum, both organisations agreed on the transfer but Vitus.Pro also included Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk as a part of the deal. This means that the Ukrainian player will be swapping position with RodJER.
This is Lil’s first statement as a Na’Vi player:
“It may sound a bit hypocritical, but back when I was starting my professional career, I really dreamed of playing under the NAVI tag. It isn’t like I pursued this dream very persistently, but in this situation, such an opportunity is, perhaps, a blessing. I’m very thankful to the organization and the players for accepting me in. I will do my absolute best to meet the expectations that are put on me.”
I would also like to cite a famous quote: “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get”.
The CIS teams do not usually do that many roster changes, so it will be interesting to see how this will turn out.
- What do you think about the roster change?
- Is Na’Vi going to have more success or will everything stay the same?
