Welcome the new BTS broadcast members: Sheever, ODPixel, Fogged and KBBQ

Beyond The Summit’s broadcast crew welcomes four new members: Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden, Owen “ODPixel” Davies, Ioannis “Fogged” Loucas & Jack “KBBQ” Chen. The new members will be handling onsite and remote coverage for the upcoming tournaments among which we have: The Summit 6, Starladder I-League Season 3, WESG Regional & Global Finals, and MDL Fall Season 2016 LAN.

The BTS family continues to grow thanks to the addition of four familiar and beloved personalities within the Dota 2 scene. Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden, Owen “ODPixel” Davies, Ioannis “Fogged” Loucas & Jack “KBBQ” Chen will be joining long-time friends and industry colleagues in the BTS Broadcast crew.

The new team will be joining their new colleagues in providing coverage for upcoming tournaments, most importantly they’ll be providing remote coverage for the upcoming MDL Fall Season 2016 LAN which kicks off the new season of Dota 2. MDL Season 2016 LAN will start on the 28th of September, in China.

Despite WinteR being a part of the Mineski X’s new roster, he will still be part of the broadcasting team.



Sheever is one of the most popular and beloved female casters within the Dota 2 scene. She has proven to be an excellent host and interviewer and a talented caster as well.

Sheever’s immense passion for videogames and the eSports scene is rivaled only by her love for cats. Diego, her cat, is one of the more popular guests on Sheever’s stream. Sheever was co-hosted the Shanghai Major 2016 after the abrupt leave of James “2GD” Harding and also hosted DreamLeague. Most recently she was an analyst for TI6 and caster/panelist for MPGL Southeast Asian Championship.


ODPixel is one of the most appreciated casters at this moment. A fan favorite, ODPixel is known for his ability to generate hype and excite. He’s energetic casting paired with British humor and banter helped quickly climb the ladder and join the more seasoned personalities within the scene.
Owen was “discovered” last year, when he was co-casting a series of BTS matches. Soon after he quit his job, moved to Sweden and join DreamHack Season 3 full-time.odpixel-at-dreamhack
Asked about his favourite thing about casting, ODPixel cited:“the adrenaline when something exciting happens, and being able to share my excitement with the viewers”

OD was recently a commentator for TI6 and caster for MPGL Southeast Asian Championship.

Fogged is an american professional Dota 2 player that was recently part of Vegetables Esports Club other broadcasting personalities such as Ben “Merlini” Wu, Austin “Capitalist” Walsh and William “Blitz” Lee.
Fogged has an extensive career in eSports, in games such as DotA, HoN and Dota 2. He was also part of Na’Vi America’s and Team Dignitas roster.
As far as desk work goes, Ioannis has been part of analyst and casting panels for tournaments such as The Manile Major, The Summit 5 and StarLadder i-League Invitational.

KBBQ is a bilingual  Mandarin interpreter and interviewer and occasional guest panelist. Born in Shanghai, China  KKBQ move to New York at the age of 3. He is proficient in Chinese and English and holds a master’s degree in Journalism  from Columbia University. He later got his start in Dota 2 with DotaFM podcasts, a radio podcast alongside Toffees. He was also on many other Dota-related podcasts and shows while also being a writer for ESPN eSports division.
